The Catcher in the Rye by J.D. Sallinger

What the hell.... I'm not sure what this book is even supposed to be about let alone why it was the raged about classic 'must read' for high school aged kids, except for the time it was banned of course.... I couldn't find a plot line, a story line, or a line of interest (speaking of lines ;0)  ). Sure, it was well written and it was definitely a poignant look into an 'american teenaged boy', but thankfully it's short because I would have had to give it up. I would not recommend this. For anyone. Ever.

You will find an official plot line description at:
