The Host by Stephanie Meyer

This isn't something I would typically read, just because I normally veer towards historical fiction so sci-fi is the obvious polar opposite of that. It was good though. A little weird, written a little shallowly, but an imaginative concept with the ever present 'cherish every moment' undertone. When Lance or my sister and I rate movies we normally give it a really good rating by saying, 'it's worth a theater ticket- in the evening', if it's just solidly good with no exclamatory remarks, 'it's worth a matinee', a mediocre movie is 'worth renting' and less than that, 'wait for it to come on T.V.' If this book were a movie it would be worth renting.
