The Smart One and the Pretty One by Claire LeZebnik

I wasn't a big fan of this one. I'm good with reading something fluffy and sub-standard every now and then, just to give my brain a break from heavier reading or from intense concentration on other things but the best part of this book was the 'About the Author' at the end. The story was shallow and poorly written. There was no emotional attachment to any of the characters, probably because the depth of the characters was no more than the page they were inked on. I wasn't joking about the 'About the Author' section either. It's actually pretty witty, funny, insightful, and unfortunately- the best part of this book. After reading her blurb about herself I found myself wishing she had just written 200+ pages about her. It would have been much more interesting and maybe even had some 'laugh out loud' moments...
