Bloodsucking Fiends by Christopher Moore

I will not give up on Christopher Moore entirely, just yet. I was told by a woman, whose opinion I trust, that he is very funny and that Bloodsucking Fiends is the worst example of his humor. That's a relief because I didn't find this funny at all. It was too much for me. It reminded me of the movie Airplane. Slapstick on paper. Just too ridiculous and silly to actually be funny. Hoping for better luck next time with this author...
