The Kitchen House by Kathleen Grissom

I was completely enchanted by this novel. And even more so after enjoying the Author's Note at the close. I am typically verbose to the point of overkill but this novel leaves me speechless. The Kitchen House puts readers through the paces of suspense, sadness, triumph, hope, shock, and admiration. When you hold The Kitchen House, you hold history.
