Stone of Tears (Sword of Truth, #2) by Terry Goodkind

I'm only mildly attached to this series. I'm enjoying it but I wouldn't miss it if I never read any further than this one. Finally in Stone of Tears I began to develop an attachment to some of the characters. Without that attachment, I have a difficult time engrossing myself in the tale. My hope is that I enjoy each additional one a little more than the last. I would love to love this long series.
