Galway Bay by Mary Pat Kelly

Loved this book! This family saga follows an Irish family through the potato famine and their eventual emigration to America. This story of six generations fed my love for historical fiction with a brilliant tale of love and loss, struggle and triumph, failure and success. The pages flew by and I was sorry to see the end of it. There are characters to love and hate. I fell in with this family as if they were my own, cheering their triumphs and mourning their losses. A thumbs up to Mary Pat Kelly for her brilliant work!
