Harvesting the Heart by Jodi Picoult


This book took me a lot longer to get through than most of hers. It was very slow starting. It's easy to tell that this is one of her earlier works. You can see the talent is there but her story telling method isn't quite developed into what it is in later works. I ended up liking it but it was missing that irony and that difficult juxtaposition in views and morals that I loved so much in My Sister's Keeper, Mercy, Salem Falls, and others.
